Professional Experience: Gisèle was a Research Associate in the Physics/Radiation Treatment Program, at the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre from 1998 to 2001, where she was responsible for developing a radiotherapy activity costing model, performing economic evaluations of operational change, and preparing various presentations and publications. As a Research assistant in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland (1996 to 1997), Gisèle oversaw the strategic planning process for the MRC Regional Partnerships Program, researched and reported on R&D spending by pharmaceutical companies, and created a web site for the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Research Network
Education: Gisèle holds a Masters of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland (1996) and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Laurentian University (1992). Gisèle worked as a Registered Nurse at Smooth Rock Falls Hospital from 1992 to 1993 in acute care and long-term care, as well as emergency room nursing. Gisèle is also bilingual (English and French).
